| Welcome to Halstead. On our website we try to show much of what we have to offer but there is no substitute for a visit. Pictures are still. We have movement, energy and exuberance. Pictures are silent. We have laughter, vitality and enthusiasm. The colour, the buildings and the bright classrooms you can see but the atmosphere of purposeful industry and courteous friendliness has to be experienced. Certainly we have high academic standards but we also appreciate how every child has different abilities and aspirations and make sure all blossoming talents are nurtured to develop each unique personality. Our principal aim is to make learning a worthwhile experience and to ensure each girl is able to face adolescence and her secondary school with confidence. |  |
