The Extended School Day

Our core teaching hours are from 8.20 am to 3.35 pm. Outside these hours we offer a wide range of activities at a small extra charge. Please refer to the Extra Curricular page. Independent Schools Inspectorate in 2010 found "The range of extra curricular activities available is wide."

All girls in Years Three to Six have a Sports Afternoon each week finishing at 4.30 pm.  We also offer the following:

Optional Prep - available to all girls in Years Three and Four at no extra charge until 4.30 pm.
Years Five & Six are expected to stay in school for Prep until 4.30 pm and 4.45 pm respectively.

Breakfast Club is available for all girls at a small extra charge from 7.30 am (8.00 am for Nursery girls) until registration.  Various cereals, toast, yogurt, fresh fruit, orange juice, milk and water are provided for girls arriving before 8.00 am.

After School Care is available for all girls until 6.00 pm and charged per 15 minutes. Girls are given a tea of healthy sandwiches, wraps or tortillas, savoury or crudites platters, fresh fruit, yoghurts and occasionally homemade cakes, with a drink. Exciting activities are planned including bead making, baking, outdoor games, arts and crafts and painting. There is separate provision for Nursery girls until 5.30 pm.

Holiday Clubs - a variety of clubs are on offer including Art & Craft, Drama, Pfish, Singing, Cycling Proficiency, Fairy Club. These are organised by school staff and outside agencies vetted by the school and are booked and paid for separately.
